Colorado took a 2-0 lead in the first as Willy Taveras led off the inning with a bunt single and Matsui followed with a shot over the right field wall.

The Rockies made it a 4-0 game in the second. Brad Hawpe led off with a double and scored when Tulowitzki followed with a two-bagger. Tulowitzki then moved to third on a passed ball and scored when Torrealba grounded out.
